HELLO! MY NAME IS AMANDA

and I would love to help you

I was adopted at birth and grew up navigating change and complex family dynamics—experiences that shaped my respect for each person’s story and sparked my passion for understanding attachment, boundaries, and how relational wounds are formed and healed. These early experiences, along with years of clinical work, guide my compassionate approach to therapy.

My professional experience spans the Children, Youth, and Families (CYF) system, special needs clinics, community mental health, skilled nursing facilities, and trauma hospitals. I have supported individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relational challenges, helping clients understand family systems, recognize patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating—to others and themselves.

In therapy, I strive to meet clients where they are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, providing a safe, collaborative space where your voice matters, your goals guide our work, and your growth is the priority.

Outside of the therapy room, I am married and the grateful parent of a sweet one-year-old. I value quality time with friends and family, love the beach, traveling, and exploring new cities or countries when the opportunity arises. I enjoy reading across many genres, consider myself a foodie, and am actively involved at Starkey Baptist Church. Faith is an important part of my life and can be thoughtfully integrated into therapy when requested, always in a way that respects each client’s beliefs and preferences.
